A Brief History Built on the remains of a medieval 12th Century fortified castle, Castello di Alica is composed of two main buildings; the oldest building was once a Carthusian monastery used by pilgrims on their journey to Rome whilst the 16th century Villa was used as a manor house and contains some beautiful 18th century frescos. |
The Restoration The buildings have been converted into luxury apartments, fitted with all modern conveniences and meticulously refurbished using traditional methods and period materials including sandstone, exposed wooden beams and terracotta tile floors.
